About SUBFORE (GiliWorld Campaign)

SUBFORE (Save oUr Beaches For futuRE) is a natural conservation project by GiliWorld to clean up our beaches, conserve coral reefs, contribute to save the earth, and keep the beauty for next generation. The SUBFORE pilot project has been started on May 2013 in Labuhan Haji Beach (East Lombok) and will be continued as regular event to make better our beaches as anecosystem. Next we want to campaign SUBFORE project to reach beach around Lombok, NTB, Nusantara, and the world. Background of SUBFORE Program is our apprehension of beaches real condition. If we want to be a part of beaches ecosystem we must responsible. Many beached in Lombok in critical condition. Rubbish have took a part in beaches compete with coral reef and sands. Irony because those beaches mostly consist of non-renewable items look like plastics. 

We can imagine how our beaches condition next tenth years if we keep that condition. Our next generations only hear about beaches from story book. Simple action with high impact. Our pilot project is to put rubbish and collect it to garbage. That is the core and source problem. Next step is maintain those rubbish with 3R (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) program or forward to final garbage that operated by formal government institutions. The last is located campaign banner to make the beach clean. Next specific program of SUBFORE is being developed say coral reef plantation, save tortoises, publish a beach rules/handbook, etc. We want to urge school, university, or government institution to join and develop SUBFORE. We need your support to join or donate for successfulness of SUBFORE Project. You can do SUBFORE in beach wherever you can. Please let our next generations can see beautiful beaches!
